Your aristocratic host and generous employer, Mihai Petrescu is the current owner of The Crooked Elm hotel. He is a man of few words, always dressed in style, the tapping of his signature golden cane announcing his imminent arrival.

Mihai seems to seldom intervene in heated situations, preferring to observe and let things play out first. But make no mistake - when the moment is right, he is ready to move.

'Try to find yourself some clothes, Mr. Reid. You represent me now.'

With a quiet look and a face full of scars, Ionut is the loyal servant of the Petrscu family, taking care of most of the tasks and manual labor around The Crooked Elm.

Ionut has a heavy accent and his speech is often broken and twisted, just like his body. His suit covers most of his deformities, but the odd angles and weird shapes are still more than apparent.

Felicia is the owner of the Antique Boutique, a mysterious little shop of oddities that you discover when exploring the village near The Crooked Elm. Friendly but mischevious, this green-eyed woman has a strange aura about her, something not quite human and yet so familiar.

Felicia has a tendency to appear out of nowhere and to disappear behind corners that lead to dead ends, often leaving you wondering if you ever talked to her at all.

'Hmm... because I was bored? To see what would happen? Perhaps I suffered a sudden and irrational desire to save your life? Honestly, your pick is as good as mine.'

A guest at The Crooked Elm, Elise has an unusual appearance and a deep, authoritative voice. She loves giving orders and she loves pretty little things doing as they're told.

She is tall and dark - her ebony skin and short black hair reflecting the light with an almost metallic sheen. She wears green goggles, or at least you think she does. Trying to focus in the detail of her features makes your brain foggy and gives you a headache, discouraging further attempts.

'Tsk, tsk, darling. Don't make a fuss. Names are irrelevant, what's important is the job. My room is number 28. Now be a darling and clean it up.'

On your way through the forest you catch something staring at you. It's a man with sunken eyes, staring silently at you. Perhaps it's just the darkness and your imagination, but his limbs seem to be growing longer as the full moon peaks from the clouds...

Smart, charming, and funny, Lavius likes to hang out at the inn, chatting with other characters. He is a ladies man, quick to flatter and seduce, but those who know him well are careful not to cross his path when he's on the hunt.

A creature of lust, Sabrina is a pure hedonist at heart, unashamed to give herself into pleasure as well as to take others to it. She can be a formidable enemy, but is quick to forgive, especially her fellow "sisters".

Sabrina has spent a thousand years perfecting the carnal arts and she is still eager to learn more - as well as to teach her knowledge.
